Industry standards
& Style Guides
Critique prices are based on manuscripts following publishing industry standards: 12-point, Times New Roman font and double-spaced with 1-inch margins.
Page count estimates are based on an average word count of 250 words per page.
For books with US readership, I adhere to the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition and Merriam-Webster. For books with a target audience in the UK, I’ll use Hart’s and the OED.

Don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter to receive 10% off your first service!
All clients are required to sign an agreement and pay 40% of the estimated total up front to hold their slots. However, I am open to discussing payment plans as necessary.
Turnaround time is usually at least one month, depending on the word/page count. Rush rates are available for those who require a quicker turnaround.
I collect payments through Stripe. You do not need an account, and you do not have to pay an additional fee to use the service.
If you’re booking with me on Reedsy, you may receive a quote that is higher than the rates listed on my website or quoted within email off the platform. Reedsy takes a fee, and so does Stripe for payment, and I have to factor those in.
Communication
All communication will take place online, via email, unless a phone call or video call has been written into our agreement.
Connections
& IntroductionS
I will not provide you with contact information for literary agents/agencies, even if I have worked with them in the past. We can talk about the process and the steps to getting an agent, and I can review lists you create and let you know if I think the agent in question may be a good fit for you if I’ve worked with them in the past, but I will not provide referrals.
